The short version
- This website has no cookies, no analytics, no ads and nothing from other websites built in.
- If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address and the few answers on the form, to email you about Sensei 21. Nothing else.
- You can leave the list, or ask what we have about you, at any time: info@sensei21.com.
Who we are
Sensei 21 is made by DAVID MASH, obrt za multimedijalne usluge, vl. David Mašić, Stjepana Radića 116, 42205 Vidovec, Croatia (OIB 02623968432; more in the legal notice). We are responsible for your data under the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Write to us at info@sensei21.com.
When you visit the website
The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. in the USA. To deliver the pages and keep the site safe, Netlify’s servers process your IP address, the page you ask for, the time, and your browser’s name and version, and keep them in logs for a limited time, as Netlify’s privacy statement describes. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a website that works and stays safe (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
We use no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. The fonts and pictures come from this website itself, not from other services.
When you join the waitlist
What we keep
- Your email address.
- Your phone: iPhone or Android.
- Whether you want to test Sensei 21 before launch.
- That you joined with the form, whose words say you’re 18 or older and agree to our emails, and which version of the form it was.
- Where you came from, if the link you followed said so (for example “instagram”) or your browser told us which website sent you.
- When you joined. Netlify also stores the IP address and browser details sent with the form, which it uses to filter spam.
Why
To email you about Sensei 21: when testing opens, when the game comes out, and news about it, about once a month at most. If you asked to test it, also to invite you to the test.
Legal basis
Your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you give by joining: the line under the button says that by joining you confirm you’re 18 or older and will get about one email a month. You can withdraw it at any time, by leaving the list, and that doesn’t affect what we did before.
Who handles it for us
- Netlify, Inc. (USA) receives and stores the form entries. Netlify is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and also uses the EU’s standard contractual clauses.
- Akismet, run by Automattic Inc. (USA), checks each entry for spam on Netlify’s behalf.
- An email service. Before we send the first email, the list moves to an email service, which we will name on this page first. It puts a link to leave the list in every email.
- Apple or Google, if you test: we add your email to Apple’s TestFlight or to Google Play’s test list, and Apple or Google sends you the invitation and handles the test under its own privacy policy.
We never sell your data or share it with anyone else.
How long
Until you leave the waitlist. If Sensei 21 is ever cancelled, we delete the whole list.
The app
Sensei 21 isn’t out yet. The test version keeps your progress on your phone and doesn’t send it to us. If you test through TestFlight or Google Play, Apple or Google may pass on crash reports and any feedback you choose to send. Before a version with accounts or online features comes out, this page will say exactly what it stores, where, and for how long.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to limit what we do with it, to receive it in a common file format, or object to how we use it. Write to info@sensei21.com and we will answer within a month.
If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Croatian data protection authority, the Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (azop.hr), or to the authority where you live.
Adults only
Sensei 21 and its waitlist are for people aged 18 or over. If you think someone younger has joined, write to us and we will delete their entry.
Links to other websites
Links to Instagram, Gambling Therapy and other websites take you to services with their own privacy policies.
Changes
When this page changes, the date at the top changes too. If a change affects what we do with the waitlist, we will tell everyone on it by email first.
